CANADA VISA INFORMATION

It is the attendee’s responsibility to investigate the visa requirements for Canada and apply for a visa or an eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization), if required. The visa process can be lengthy, do not delay!

U.S. Citizens
Citizens of the United States need a valid U.S. passport to fly to or transit through a Canadian airport. You do not need a visa or eTA.
Citizens of the United States coming to Canada by car, bus, train, or boat need to carry proper identification and meet the basic requirements to enter Canada.
U.S. Citizens flying into Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF) and driving across the border should review the website for required documents, border wait times, and duty rules.

Foreign Nationals

Invitation Letters
Your visa application may require you to submit an official letter of invitation from the conference organizers. Follow these steps precisely to receive your letter.

Send an e-mail to info@metabolomicssociety.org with the subject line: Invitation Letter – Your Name

Provide these details, with a corresponding number:

1. Full Name
2. Job Title / Position
3. Name of Organization
4. Postal Address at Organization (Work)
5. Telephone Number
6. Date of Birth (requested by Canada)

Your invitation letter will be sent via e-mail within 2 business days. We are not able to provide letters via postal mail.
